Der Ursprung von Fabritius Bildwelten im Medium Fernsehen ist zunächst nicht unmittelbar erkennbar, die Bilder verweisen in erster Linie auf sich selbst. Dieser Eigenständigkeit folgt dann jedoch eine Ebene der Interpretation und eine Kontextualisierung in gesellschaftliche Belange. Die unterschiedlichen Formate und wechselnden Atmosphären finden immer wieder zurück zu einer Kombination aus stillem Einverständnis und Irritation. Die Arbeiten verwirren und interessieren zugleich.
